Glaucoma Evaluations

Glaucoma is a group of conditions that damage the optic nerve, often gradually and without noticeable symptoms until significant vision loss has already occurred. Because of this, a comprehensive glaucoma evaluation is essential for anyone at risk, including patients with a family history of glaucoma, elevated eye pressure, or certain other risk factors.

Our evaluations combine several diagnostic tools, including eye pressure measurement, visual field testing to map your peripheral vision, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging to closely examine the optic nerve and retinal nerve fiber layer for early signs of damage. Together, these tests allow us to detect glaucoma early and track even subtle changes over time.

If you're diagnosed with glaucoma or found to be at higher risk, we'll explain your results in plain terms and outline a monitoring or treatment plan tailored to your specific situation.
