Nathaniel Roland, OD (Dr. Nate) has practiced throughout the Portland Metro, Northern Oregon Coast, & the Mid-Willamette Valley. He received his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Then, he completed his residency at the Albuquerque VA Medical Center both to further his medical eye skills & to honor those who have served in the US Armed Forces.

In 2016, Dr. Nate relocated to the Pacific Northwest, where he has remained actively engaged in both professional & community organizations and continues his nationally recognized leadership and healthcare advocacy. As one who values learning, teaching & continuous training, it is no surprise that Dr. Nate finds purpose in mentoring students. He has served as a clinical instructor at the renowned Pacific University and as adjunct faculty at other colleges.

Although Dr. Nate is a native Texan, he is happy to make his home in Oregon. He enjoys the natural abundance found in the amazing waterways, parks, & the lush forests. Music & the performing arts hold a special place in his heart, and he also has a passion for sports including baseball, basketball, football, & soccer.
